Flowing Water

A little chick first leaves the nest,

Its parents guide each trembling test.

A fox digs deep to guard her young,

Through winter nights their songs are sung.

The squirrel gathers nuts with care,

And hides them safely everywhere.

Each creature anticipates the seasons change,

And they find a way to rearrange.

Like flowing water, they adapt,

Through storm and frost they stay intact.

Preparing wisely for what may be,

Yet living light and feeling free.

They pause to bask in the morning’s glow,

To feel the breeze and watch life flow.

So learn from nature’s quiet art,

Stay strong in mind and soft at heart.

Be flexible when the tides arise,

Resilient under changing skies.

For those who bend but do not break,

Can weather every path they take.
