We can say No

Life runs fast and doesn't last,

Loved ones lost and pain from past.

Confusion why we can't say no?

To keep the peace? we just don't know.

We guess the wants, the truth, the lies,

The heart seeks peace and calm, but sighs.

We lose ourselves along the way,

Our voices fade, our mind that pays.

The truth is yet to come and keep,

Those who know, the roots run deep.

We can say we can't without a thought ,

No grudges held or ideas faught.

For those rare gems found by our side,

Need no explaining nor rules to abide.

So unveil our masks and remove our guilt,

For peace remains need no mountains built.
