Possibilities
Sometimes we look, but we don't see,
The clouds haze our vision to possibilities.
Our short sight keeps us where we are,
Our fears, our worries to get far.
We feel comfortable with what we know,
Afraid of change; we settle to plateau.
But what if between black and white,
Are all the colours missed that's bright?
If we stay closed our vision remains,
Chances are we'd stay unchained.
For if we can take a leap of faith,
What awaits, a brighter day.
Our life is brief, with no guarantees,
So pick the door that sets us free.
