Life Is Now
I rush and run to chase the day,
with endless things to check and pay.
The clock keeps ticking, I'm never still,
a daily struggle up the hill.
I missed the breeze, the morning light,
the colors fading into night.
A laugh, a glance, a moment's grace,
all lost inside my frantic pace.
But life is now, not when I’m done,
not someday soon, but in the sun.
So let the world spin if it must,
I stop to breathe and build my trust.
The joy is now, not far ahead,
stitched into the life I slowly thread.
