A Gentle Shift

We live in “then” and “when,” not now,

Chasing our dreams, forgetting how.

We dwell on pasts that is faded, unclear,

And wait for futures not yet here.

The present hums with its quiet grace,

Yet we rush on, we refuse its pace.

Too full of noise to simply be,

We miss what’s right in front to see.

But pause a while, and we may find,

A gentler shift within our minds.

Where priorities fall into calm and rest,

Where what we have feels truly blessed.

These moments now are ours to choose,

A life to live, not to waste or lose.
