My Little Girl

You came to me, so small and sweet,

your tiny hands and restless feet.

A spark of light, a sudden swirl,

and just like that, you changed my world.

You laugh, you cry, you sing, you sleep,

you climb too high, then fall too deep.

You make me sigh, then hug so tight,

it’s love and learning every night.
