Living with True Intentions
I will not drift on every breeze,
or bend to every voice that please.
I’ll walk a path that's truly mine,
with open heart and steady spine.
No longer lost in noise and speed,
I'll pause to ask what I most need.
Not to chase more, but to seek what's true,
the life I want, not what I “should” do.
I'll greet the dawn with mindful eyes,
I'll find the truth beneath disguise.
Each word I speak, each step I take,
a conscious choice I wish to make.
When others run, I stay my ground,
where wisdom grows and stillness found.
I measure wealth in joy and peace,
not in the things that never cease.
To live each day with soul and grace,
to slow the pace and hold my place;
this is the vow, the quiet claim,
I live with purpose, not for fame.
So when the fleeting moments fly,
I won’t just watch them passing by.
With grounded heart and clear direction,
I’ll shape my life with true intention.
